First it was a rumor, then, as the Internet picked up the story, it became something larger. Even though Carrey's management denied he would be involved in a new movie project about the late psychedelic explorer Terence McKenna, Jim's recent behaviour in interviews is very reminiscent of someone who's just had a life-transforming psychedelic experience.

Stories of Carrey eating mushrooms in nature have been dissolved into all of this, others suggest he may have encountered the DMT experience.

Or is this new look on life coming from, as Terence McKenna put it, sweeping around the Ashram?
